Accommodations for Cats, Dogs, and Exotics

Since each pet is unique, we offer some different accommodations for cats, dogs, and exotics. In particular, in order to board your exotic pet, we ask that you bring them in their own enclosure along with their food for the duration of their stay. Since exotic species vary so widely, we do not have the accommodations for every species at our hospital.

For cats and dogs, we offer the following:

  • Dog runs and kennels, suited to every breed
  • Cat condos that include tiers your cat can climb on
  • Daily walks for dogs and individual playtime when possible
  • Water always available
  • Soft comfortable bedding that’s cleaned regularly
  • A gentle diet provided

We do allow you to bring some of your pet’s personal items from home so they can feel more comfortable during their stay. However, please be sure to mark your pet’s name on all these items so we can do our best to keep these items together.

Boarding Requirements

The safety of our guests is our top priority. To ensure every pet goes home as healthy as they came in, we ask that all our guests meet the following requirements:

  • Up to date on the following vaccinations: rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, canine influenza (dogs); and rabies, FVRCP (cats)
  • Free of parasites – A negative fecal test is needed within 6 months of their stay and they should also be up to date on parasite prevention. If parasites are found on your pet, we’ll administer the appropriate treatment at your expense.
